Nisay Snea Tevada Chamcheat is a 2018 Indian Chinese web series directed by Moumita Choudhury and produced by Aanand L Rai for his production company AR Films. The series is based on the novella of the same name by Saradindu Bandopadhyay. The story follows the life of Nisay, a lower-class woman in Calcutta who falls in love with a wealthy man, and the complications that ensue. The series was first announced in March 2018, and began airing on Chinese streaming service PandaTV on 10 June 2018. It has since been licensed for broadcast in India by Sony TV. Nisay Snea Tevada Chamcheat has received mixed reviews from critics. On the one hand, many praised the series for its unique and well-executed storytelling, while others found the characters and plot clichéd.
